Judgement Day – Chapter 2

sexy evil superheroine in black super heroine spandex costume Okay okay, I’m bowing to public pressure and releasing the second chapter of Judgement Day today. Lots of emails and a good response means that DF Fan’s Judgement Day is very popular and I’m only happy to oblige.

Carrying on from the first chapter, our daring heroine is transported back to her home planet and faces the high priestess. After learning that her super powers have been completely removed she is then forced to fight the menacing Tanyallia.

If you’re looking for a great superheroine catfight, you’ve come to the right place!

Next week I’m determined to release the first chapter of the second comic book we have ready for shipping, so no amount of emails will change my mind!

  1. I appreciate it Mo, and hope everyone enjoys the rest of the story. Believe me, I know there are split camps bewteen “ultra-powerful heroines only” and “perilous heroines only” – and I worry about getting the heroine into too much helpless situations. But I always promise that my heroines will find a way to win in the end.

In this particular story, it leans more towards the heroine having to “overcome” with her wits and cunning – as her powers become effectively neutralized by a stronger woman from her home planet. It gets pretty grim at times, but hang in there – Super Woman always finds a way to come through when all is said and done. 🙂

  2. Hi Brantley, it’s good to hear from you again (hope all is well.) Glad you lik the story so far.

You know that I never have followed the recent comic renditions of the post-crisis SG versus the original, etc. I’m a pretty simple guy that liked the orginal character from the comic books from way back (when I was a kid – 38 years ago!) Has it really been that long? LOL!

I rarely read the Aurora stories of uberwomen or keep up with recent comics, but simply love the beauty and simplicity of the DC character we are not naming. To me, the Super Woman character might as well be called who she really is, but I know that legal troubles may arise, etc.

That being said, I hope everyone doesn’t look TOO deep into what the various comics have made these women out to be over years and try to compare them to my vision of the heroines. Because I am not following that model. My favorite character is the innocent, brave and beautiful heroine who does the basics (fly, heat vision, x-ray vision, strength, intelligence, etc.)

Don’t ever want to complicate it more than that. 🙂 But I realize that two different people can look at the same thing and come away with two entirely different opinons – that’s what makes the world so great.

So anyway, I appreciate any constructive criticism and also the kind words – because it really does take a decent amount of time to do these things. Lord knows I have less and less time as I get older. So please just take them for what they are worth and enjoy them if you can. I truly do these things because I love it (sounds cliche, but it’s the truth.)

Take care man, and drop me a line once in awhile. Tell your wife I said hello as well. 🙂

    Sincerely,

    DF

  3. Thanks Zebra5, I am happy you like it so far. It really makes it seem more “worthwhile” to devote the time and energy when people are happy with the work. I did finish off the story last night, so it should be posted in the next few weeks or so (and yes, SW does come through in the clutch – just when times seem most desperate.)

  4. DC_FAN your work is to the highest standard. i have all ways looked forward to all the work you do, on here, at the steeles etc.
im looking forward to seeing more of this story, and the close up of the black boots. (most liklely a throat lift? that would be so cool… both boots! red and black !!)
anyway well do for all your hard work and i look forward to the next piece you publish. keep up the brilliant work!!!!!!!

  5. Hi Scott – I’m happy you are enjoying the story so far. I did submit a recent story that had a throat lift, but I’m not sure this particular one has one (if I remember correctly.)

But really, all the credit for these stories should go to Jon and the staff for getting such beautiful models to live out these characters for us. Their tireless efforts are helping us all in keepin the genre alive online.
