Hey all,
You may have heard that here in the UK we’ve got the first real snow for about 18 years so, as usual, the country is in chaos and nothing is working!
Anyhow, enough of my rant. Here on the SuperSexyHeroines.com website I’m back to 80%. What I mean is that I’ve just uploaded two photosets of Gemma Hiles as Supergirl and Layla in her sexy Super Chick costume.
Whilst I try and release a comic book every week, sometimes I am going to have to release a photoshoot – but as I get a lot of good feedback on those shoots, I don’t think anyone is complaining when you’ve got someone like Gemma!
We’ve two new comics coming next week. The first features two very sexy superheroines. One very good, and one very bad!
We then will hopefully launch a series of short stories in the next few weeks, and when I get a chance I may have some very short films that I can release.

Gotta say that this is a bit disappointing Jon.
I appreciate London and the SE is snowed under today but it wasn’t snowed under for the entirety of last week.
Now $hit happens from time to time. But I think you could do a better job managing people’s expectations. It’d be great if you could let us know before the event that you’re not going to be able to deliver. That way we know what to expect. Waiting two weeks for a comic update only to get photoshoots isn’t great.
Here’s hoping that the next updates are worthwhile.
I’m sure they will be… I would say this website has one of the best records in terms of reliability. Delays hardly ever occur and when they do, Jon catches up.
I’m disappointed too when updates don’t happen but I’m sure sometimes real life just gets in the way a bit too much and I can empathise with that.
I’m with Mo on this — Jon’s very good about catching up after a delay, unlike some other super girl websites that charge a monthly fee and promise weekly updates. Unlike them, Jon doesn’t just let the week go by and then decide it never happened — he comes back with content to make up for the delay.
Looking forward to the new stories!
I’m with Dennis and Mo…Jon will catch up as he always does. Besides, Gemma is back so life is good.
I look forward to the new comics and possible films? As long as it doesn’t cause there to be any missing any comic updates, then go for it.
Sometimes it’s difficult to convey messages adequately in text. Contexts and meanings can get lost.
I think it’s ok to be late.
Stuff does come up.
My contention is about letting people know before the event. Not after. So it’s a couple days after the last comic and Jon realises that he’s not going to make Monday’s update. That’s when I think he should let us know, not when it’s well past due.
At the end of the day it’s just a website update. It’s not that big a deal. Yes Jon does always catch up, and his comics are hands down the best on the internet, (though I can’t agree that delays are rare). It’s just about managing expectations.
Besides someone has to be the bad guy 🙂
One mustn’t forget that this is an awesome site, but also: You’re all paying money for this. A two-week delay (really?) is quite a big thing when around four weeks cost 18.95… I’d be paying too, I’d be disappointed (but still glad about the great things I’ve seen), but sitting in Germany and not having a credit card just keeps you out of this place, no matter how hard you want to get in 😉

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that since the film site went online, the updates here at SSH have been sporadic or absent with much more frequency? I thing the content is great (when posted), but I agree with Fred in that a little communication would go a long way if there are going to be delays!
the last comics posted (bionic bodyguard) start on a good plot…
ah..and what a “bionic body” …lol
maybe it was posted with haste cause of the photo order and the double shot …must read before post…and check the continuity of the photo..thanks…
