Its give me great pleasure to finally say that as of this morning SuperheroineFilms.com has launched with the guy’s first movie.
Its called ‘Superwoman: The Forger’ and I think its absolutely great:
1. Beautiful Supergirl – tick
2. Great costume – tick (I would say that!)
3. Good storyline – tick
4. Super strength – tick!
5. Special effects – tick, with heat vision, flying, etc
I’ve signed up, and I think its great, ESPECIALLY as its their first film…. imagine what they’ve got coming!!!
Anyhow, thats my opinion. I’m working with them in January again on a really great film idea, and I know they’ve got another couple of films already in ‘the can’.
So, check it out if you’re interested!

Hey, yeah, without giving too much away, the character looks to be some sort of reporter who then transforms into Supergirl.

Just wanted to take this opportunity to say that I really loved the latest story, “Not This Time”. There are lots of sites out there that focus too much on the bondage/humiliation aspect without any sense of fun. This story at least includes the empowerment of another woman. And, although the “bad guy” seems to be winning, it’s still fun to see her transform, enjoy her strength, and wonder if/how our heroine will turn the tables on the villain. Hope the story doesn’t get cut short. It looks like a lot of fun!

Gents like jon i have signed up and downloaded and watched the short film and i can say hand on heart for a 1st attempt it bloody great!!! btw THE COUSTUEM LOOKS GREAT AND THE BOOT!!! …..
but it a good film and i recommend it, but 24.99 for just 1 film is a bit steep so i have cancled me rebilling so i can baseline how many films i will get per month. Hopefully not just 1 but we will wait and see? BTW jon do you think they will update more than once per month? scotty27

i just read there website again and misssed that they only update once a month which is very steep!
The Superherionefilms fee is steep, especially when there are sites that charge by the download and monthly fee sites have a tendency to miss posting dates with alarming regularity. They should think about charging by film – that way they can keep the entire catalog up as they develop it and people can buy the stories they want. Just a thought.
Hopefully these guys stick with it- I could see a low number of subscriptions initially, picking up after there are more movies on the site (assuming that you get access to all movies when you subscribe).

I think the film is great. The costumes (of course), the action, the actress, etc.
I agree that it would be nice to see more action, but I think I’d say that after watching any film with superheroines. I just love watching the kicking, punching, throwing, lifts, throat lifts, etc etc.
Superwoman: The Forger has lifts, heat vision, x-ray vision, her being punched, flying, and then flying through the building.
All-in-all a really good first movie.
I think the best barometer is to look at other sites that do this stuff well like New Goddess and Project Superwoman, and look at their first films.
Of course, their films get better and better because I guess they understand what they’re doing as time goes by, they get more adventurous, and their skills enhance.
In my opinion I think that the Superwoman; The Forger film is a better film than the first films released by New Goddess and Project Superwoman… so I’m really hoping that over time they’ll be delivering some real kick-ass stuff in the future.
About the monthly subscription – New Goddess does this and it works fine, but they do have a catalogue of films so it is better value. I wonder how they first started out?
Oh, and Dennis, thanks for the feedback on ‘Not this time’. Much appreciated. If you like a bit of tying up, make sure you pick up next weeks comic book which features an AMAZING superwoman!
The owners of the site (Jon?) would be best to take heed of the comments here in regards to price/value. At $24.95 for the inital video, I think that is a little steep! If memory serves, whenever New-Goddess and ProjectSuperwoman and the Steeles launch a new site, at least they have 3 or 4 updates to show for the first month’s subscription (although Project Superwoman isn’t a subscription service). My suggestion would be to lower the price of the subscription for the first few months to encourage people to try them out. Of course, this’ll create a different problem by pissing off the people that already paid.
The main issue I have is paying $24.95 for one movie in hopes that another one is coming. They say every month but they’ve no track record of this except for the 9-10 month delay in getting the site launched. Not exactly a reassurance. I’ll probably sit on the sidelines till I see more product and/or reviews.
On a positive note though, the girl looks very hot and the costumes look great!

Actually, I don’t enjoy the tying up as much as I like seeing one woman leeching the powers out of the heroine for her own use… I was rooting for the empowered villainess, cuz she was getting charged up. 🙂 Kind of like the “Diamond” comic book angle. It’s not that the heroine is lying on the floor — it’s that a woman has turned herself “super” at the heroine’s expense. And, as before, it’d be nice to see the heroine turn the tables back at the end.

Any preview clip out there, like New Goddess does? Or at least a summary of the story (marked with spoiler warnings)?
Check out my earlier comments (Dec 8), as the site did fail and did not post a new video one month after the (admittedly incorrect) Dec 1 date listed on the website. Of course, missing the one month date is annoying enough, however, putting false dates on updates so that unsuspecting subscribers don’t realize that updates are missed….
As they are going to lose subscribers as they are already missing deadlines regularly (remember the April startup?), I again suggest that a charge per video is probably the way to go.
Seconding Don Nadie’s message above. Please tell your friends over there that subscribing members get VERY irritated when a site that promises monthly content does not deliver. Some of us will begin demanding refunds if they don’t straighten themselves out.

Catching up on a few blog replies and I wanted to just inform you all that I haven’t been in touch with the guy over at SuperheroineFilms.com since before Christmas. I’ve actually seen the next film they’re releasing and so I guess it won’t be long until they release it.
We actually worked with the lead actress to create a SuperSexyHeroines.com story called ‘The Collector’ which was written and illustrated by DF Fan.

all im going to say about there new film is…… you can see this was their 1st attempt as the forger is much much better!! lets hope they can improve.
My honest opinion… I think that The Forger is a better film. Intoxication is their second (I think) film, and the Forger is the third.
I’ve not seen the first one and I’m not sure if they’re release it or not (I don’t think it was very good!!).
But before Christmas I saw some stuff with their fourth and fifth films and I was really impressed. I’m assuming they’re going to releasing the forth film mid-February? If I find out anything I’ll be sure to post it on this blog.
Anyhow guys I have to grab some dinner!

Holy no-surprise-here Batgirl! Late again. They’re perfect as they have not delivered anything in a timely manner, even the startup date. I’ve said it once before & I’ll say it again, if you’re going to charge a monthly fee and expect us to pay regularly, then you should update regularly.
So it’s time to for them to reconsider and move to a pay per download format. This way, monthly subscribers won’t disappointed. Or better yet, do a two-level membership, with a pay per download and a monthly membership, in which the monthly subscribers get some kind of premium – stills, outtakes, something like that.
I’m hoping that the sight succeeds cause it’s got potential, but it’s a high monthly cost, for weak delivery to date.
I’ve got no idea when they’re next update I’m afraid. There is a note on their website saying that ‘Update – next film due end of February.’
I don’t really have a great deal of contact with these guys. I lend them some costumes and I recommend actresses – thats all.
I’ll see if I can grab the main guy there. I don’t know what the problem is because I know that they have some films they’ve already shot. Maybe they’re either not happy with them or there’s a problem?
I’d suggest they get a forum or blog to tell people what’s going on, but that’s my humble opinion!
End of February is here, but still no update at Superherofilms. Disappointing and more than a little frustrating. Does anyone think its odd that the person in charge of the site would NOT choose to pop up and promote or explain dealys in the community sites such as superwomenmania.com, XtSt Yahoo Group, or even here on this blog? They HAVE to troll these places as the content is too spot-on, which in itself is the most disappointing thing in all of this. The site could be much more than the money-milking subscription service it is now. Just my humble opinion!
Hey JackHandy, I agree. I’ve not been able to get hold of the main guy over there so I’ve no idea whats going on, sorry.
I can assure you the main guys do know about SuperSexyHeroines.com, SWM, etc because I have been with them looking through them all.
Again, I’ll try this week to get hold of them, but I agree, its a shame that the site hasn’t been updated because they have some great ideas.
