My next question: New Costumes

On 1st April (oddly enough April Fool’s Day) I asked the readers of this blog about what they would to see more of on the SuperSexyHeroines.com website, what they’d like to see less of, and how we could improve.

I’ve been staggered by the response. 32 comments to-date and most of them in-depth with the writer having taken the time to tell me what they really want from the site, the comics, the photoshoots, the video clips and more.

I am also happy that I got no ranters on there and that the majority of people are really happy with what I’ve been putting together over the past few years.

As I said before I’m really committed to making the website better and taking it to the next level. I think that one large part of that may be some new superheroines!

Now, I’m guessing that the following are the most popular superheroines:

Supergirl costume]

Power Girl

Wonder Woman Costume

But I've worked with others to create other new costumes like:

Superheroine Costume

Superheroine costume

Now I want to extend the superheroines on the website. New sexy costumes, new sexy powers even. I've seen a lot of inspiration, mainly from the old comics, from promo girl photos and others.

In the next month I'll be working with a tailor to create the next breed of superheroines with their new costumes.

  • What colours will they be wearing?
  • Will there be oodles of cleavage?
  • Will one leg be covered, but the other not?
  • Will they be masked?
  • Will the costumes be shiny or matt
  • What material will the costumes be?
  • Will the superheroine be weaking knee-high boots, thigh-high boots, heels or even nothing?
  • Will the costume expose her mid-riff?
  • Will she be wearing a cape?

All these questions and more. But I am on the hunt for inspiration. Inspiration on costume design, costume colours, cut, etc. But also the superheroine powers, their abilities, their weaknesses and more.

I've got a few ideas myself and I'll be wheeling them out in the next few months, but if you have any ideas on what YOU would like to see, just tell me and I'd be very happy to make it come to life!

  1. * What colours will they be wearing? —> doesn’t matter really…but red, blue and yellow are the winners
    * Will there be oodles of cleavage? —> some cleavage is nice but not obligatory
    * Will one leg be covered, but the other not? —> it would be interesting that in some costumes it would be…
    * Will they be masked? —> no masks please
    * Will the costumes be shiny or matt —> it goes together with the next question…not vinyl shiny but shiny is better than matte
    * What material will the costumes be? —> lycra
    * Will the superheroine be weaking knee-high boots, thigh-high boots, heels or even nothing? —> knee-high boots
    * Will the costume expose her mid-riff? —> it’s a MUST, because that’s HOT
    * Will she be wearing a cape? —> i prefer the cape

  2. Hi Again Jon,

You certainly post some interesting questions. As far as the costumes you have already have some of the finest most high quality costumes on the net. Most other sites tend to look cheap and tacky in comparison. Simplicity is the key and the classic red and blue always works for me, but silver or gold would be interesting I thought the new goddess silver blaze costume though probably just an ebay jobbie worked well. I’ve always thought an all in one supergirl costume providing full body coverage with cape and boots would be good if done right or the classic top combined with tight spandex shorts. Good quality shiny lycra like your superior girl costumes or supergirl top you use are the order of the day for me and its gotta be knee length boots. I’m more swayed towards the midriff being covered but dont have an issue with it per se.
I know you would probably face copyright issues if you used the ‘s’ logo too often but maybe some kind of lettering upon the chest would work. Not too into masks but could work for a villan.
As for powers all the classics: superstrength, speed, agility, anymore are a bonus. I’ve also always found increased mental abiltity to be interesting especially in terms of an origin story. Seeing a previously mild mannered girl/woman become super strong and super intelligent eg: can read books in seconds. It adds to the dimension that not only has she become confident within her looks and her super powers she also oozes extra confidence because she is super clever too… just a thought. I like the idea that the heroine explores the effect she has on the people around her in her new found super guise eg: how men and women may feell intimidated and awkward around her beauty and super powers. I had a thought too you could use two actresses/models one pre transformation and one post could be interesting. A shirt rip closeup then panning out to reveal the heroine in her super guise mid transformation would be cool. Looking forward to what you have planned. Think I’m gonnna subscribe again later too hows that, lol. Peace

  3. Jon:

Here’s a question I brought up in a recent email. It would be interesting to hear what other subscribers think.

Is it necessary for the actress to be wearing a super-heroine (or super-villainess) costume in every story?

You’ve got some great costumes, and I certainly enjoy seeing them on your beautiful models. But I wouldn’t object to an occasional story in which the model wears something more conventional (though still sexy).

There’s that script I sent you, where the actress wears — well, let’s not give it away. But other possibilities might include: a classic “little black dress”; a colorful 1960’s-vintage “mod” outfit with mini-dress and boots; a spandex exercise outfit; an Emma Peel cat-suit; an oversized football jersey. Other subscribers may have other suggestions.

An advantage for you, of course, is that most of these don’t need to be custom-made — which reduces your overhead.

    So what do people think?

  4. Re: Argonaut’s question about costumes: for me, I’d be disappointed if there weren’t costume. There are plenty of sites with non-costumed sexy women out there, and even sites that have non-costumed strong sexy women. It is the superheroine in costume aspect that I like. What is a superheroine without her costume?

  5. Red, blue and yellow, the super colors, are by far the winner. Capes are very, very good. And so are boots, in red or matching colors, either knee-high or thigh-high. Cleavage is also very sexy.

Please, please, don’t do any maks, they are awful.

I suggest you take a look at the uniforms SG used in the 70’s and early 80’s, or any of those found in this wallpaper:

Congratulations on your great work and superb taste,

    PB

  6. I’m a huge fan of the Dark Star costume, so anything that resembles this costume is A-OK with me.

  7. My personal preference would be a shiny costume, either a leotard-style top with a chest logo or a strapless top starting over the breasts, gloves or wonder-woman style wrist-lets, knee high boots with or without heels (but with a bit of shape to them, such as higher-topped at the front), ice-skating-style skirt, belt. In the case of a strapless top, instead of a chest logo the superheroine could have a big-jeweled necklace and the cape would attach around the neck. Tiaras are always quite sexy too, or completely gelled back hair – something a bit different.

But having said that, I think we’re all happy enough with the high-quality ones you’ve already had made 🙂 Any more you decide to make is a bonus and I’m sure you’ll do a fine job as you have done before.

  8. Lots of cleavage would be great. Cleavage can also lend itself to some super feats. In this week’s story, Superwoman hugged the grenade to her chest to muffle the blast. A heroine with exposed cleavage could push the grenade into the valley between her breasts and smother the blast between them hands-free, with a wisp of smoke coming out of her cleavage as the only sign that anything happened. Another good thing would be for a heroine to crush a hard material, like a rock, between her breasts, showing that even the softest parts of her body are stronger than steel.

Hey, that just gave me a story idea I’d love to see you make into a story: The villain tricks the heroine into crushing a weird rock, or maybe a small device with a crystal inside, between her breasts. She’s expecting to crush it into powder but it’s a trap. The intense pressure and heat from being squeezed between the most powerful breasts on Earth activates the crystal and it drains all the power and strength from the heroine’s body, leaving her weak and helpless, easily restrained by the villain. From there I can think of two possible paths: #1, as long as the crystal is lodged between the heroine’s breasts, she will remain weak and powerless. The only way for her to regain her powers is to remove the crystal from her cleavage, easier said than done. #2, once the heroine’s powers have been drained and the heroine subdued, the villainess plucks the crystal out of the heroine’s cleavage and inserts it into her own. Once the crystal is firmly ensconced between the villainess’s breasts, all the power and strength drained from the heroine is imbued into the villainess, creating a nigh unstoppable super bad girl.

Knee-high boots are good, but it might be cool to see a heroine go barefoot sometimes, considering that invulnerable feet have no need for protective footwear, allowing the heroine to walk barefoot on spikes or white-hot metal or electrified metal without her even noticing.

A cape is good, a cape says the character is more than an ordinary girl. A superheroine without a cape has to show off more of her power to get guys to take her seriously than an equally powerful heroine who wears a cape.

On an unrelated note, the “Next week” previews in the members area have not worked for months. Every time I try to look at it with either IE or Firefox, there’s no picture and no preview text. Just the basic site template with nothing else.

  9. I’m very biased to the original Supergirl(woman) costume. I can’t get enough, especially with a blonde helming! But variations with the super villainess costumes are fun. Dark, likely black, with secondary colors to seem more like a costume or contrast the heroine’s colors are great.

  10. Well, here’s a few of my pointers…

1.) I want to see more superheroines in hi-cut leotards like Miss Power. I don’t know about you, but in my opinion, skirts become so boring and repetitive.

2.) I would like to see some time travel stories. Especially Miss Power and Wonder Babe. They should travel through time to stop the notorious schemes of time bandits.

3.) Why not check out my DeviantART gallery for some inspirations in costume design. I’m sure you’ll like them:
    http://dangerman-1973.deviantart.com/gallery/#_popular

4.) I would like to see more Oriental-themed superheroines like female ninjas and Sailor-Suited super powered schoolgirls. Make it more variety in them. Not just Western-inspired heroines.

  11. Hi Ive been looking at the blog for this site for ages, thinking about joining, seems youve got the best stuff on the web here. Great that your asking how to make it better too, not afraid to ask others which is great.

Personally, I do like the traditional costumes:

Capes are DEFINITES – I love capes – they’re probably my favourite part of costumes. And this leads on to material: Satin looks amazing, and satin capes are the pinacle! More satin capes, of any colour, and with variation in length – some short, so ankle length.

A video of a sexy superheroine in a costume with revealing cleavage, a floaty short skirt and a long, rich, high quality (almost heavy looking) satin cape would have me registering in no time!

Boots are great too, prefer them to normal shoes. High heeled boots preferable. Cleavage is definitely nice, but I like to leave things to the imagination too. Like the colour black for costumes, gold too.

The only other thing would be no masks – if you have a beautiful model, which you often seem to have here, then her face shouldnt be hidden!

    Hope this is helpful!

  12. Favorite costume ( although I do like variety ) would be sleeveless top, preferably halter type, shorts and boots. Any combo of red, white and blue always looks good.
Masks, yeah, okay, provided they don’t cover the whole face or head. Just around the eyes so the hair and most of the face is still visible. That would look sexy on a heroine.

  13. * What colours will they be wearing?
-whatever colors fit the theme of the character. red/blue/yellow white for a clean cut heroine, black for an evil or catwoman type heroine, leopard skin for a jungle heroine, or whatever costume mimics a specific popular comic heroine
    * Will there be oodles of cleavage?
-I’d say it depends on the model. If it’s an asset of a particular model, it’d be great.
    * Will one leg be covered, but the other not?
-seems like a weird idea, only if it fit in with the theme of the costume
    * Will they be masked?
-i prefer not, maybe for a villain. heroines can have a clark kent like disguise as regular citizens, then be plain-faced as heroines
    * Will the costumes be shiny or matt
-I guess shiny to stand out more, to be flashier.
    * What material will the costumes be?
Whatever you’re doing now looks good, I’m not a material expert
    * Will the superheroine be weaking knee-high boots, thigh-high boots, heels or even nothing?
    * Will the costume expose her mid-riff?
-YES!!!!! This scores major points for me, very sexy and one of my favorite aspects of a costume.
    * Will she be wearing a cape?
If it fits the character. If a heroine isn’t the type that flies or sails through the city, a cape wouldn’t make much sense. for example, a catwoman type wouldn’t wear a cape but a supergirl type would.

  14. Hi,
It looks like some work goes into these photo shoots, but I am wondering why the photos are of such a low technical quality (grain/noise)? I mean, most cell phones make better quality photos these days. Also, they are reasonably large, mostly about 100+k, is there a chance the technical quality could be improved?

  15. What colours will they be wearing? -i love all colors for heroines except black. White should only be used for the Angel inspired character. Pink, orange, green, red are great.

Will there be oodles of cleavage? -Some, but like the Superman style costumes with emblems/insignias too.

Will one leg be covered, but the other not? -No.

Will they be masked? No-Heroines should be arrogant enough not to cover their face unless they are a twin.

Will the costumes be shiny or matt Either.

What material will the costumes be? Thats up to you.

Will the superheroine be weaking knee-high boots, thigh-high boots, heels or even nothing? Like heels or knee high.

Will the costume expose her mid-riff? On occasion.

Will she be wearing a cape? Some.

also the superheroine powers, their abilities, their weaknesses and more.- I like the archetypes and secret identities both so lawyer turned heroine, housewife, dancer, model, all turned to a good superheroine. A politician like a Sarah Palin type becoming a heroine, but not as smart or perfect as the others. Same with a trailer park princess who gets powers by accident but even though all cleaned up on the outside, doesnt have the intelligenct to be effective. Also a Vegan heroine.

  16. You were so close with that one costume you’ve got some of the models wearing already — the one with the halter top and the hot pants and the boots with the cape. Here’s all I’d change about that & you’d basically have the ideal costume IMO.

    1) Change those blue hot pants to a red thong – not a g-string (which is just too slutty), and not some 70’s WW-style bloomers (which are too prude). Something like a 1/2 cut or 3/4 cut jobber that leaves a decent bit of ass hanging out but not too much. Oh man I never realized what a freaky perfectionist I was about my fetish until I started typing this shit lol.

    2) Anyway, next would be to fix the cut of that neckline thing. That was the greatest idea – I’m fully on board – the haltertop that goes from mid/upper neck down just to below the breasts – leaving the arms, shoulders, and sides of her tits bared. But something’s not quite right with the cut of the one you have. You know what I’m talking about.

    3) Another thing (which I don’t think anyone else has mentioned) would be a pair of elbow-length blue or red gloves made from the same spandex/lycra stuff as the rest of her costume. This would complement the boots, cape, and thong, and be a nice balance for a halter-top costume.

    4) Also – I love the high heeled boots, but I also love the thigh-high stockings on the miss power costume. Man if only it were possible to have that kind of stocking built with a high-heel & firm sole. Get a red pair of those & there you’d have what IMO is the absolute perfect pinnacle of superheroine costumes.

(now… barring the above, I’ll settle for a bunch more photoshoots/comics featuring the version of that costume that you already have) 😛

  17. » What colours will they be wearing?
    Any color will do.

» Will there be oodles of cleavage?
Seriously, I would not mind variaty. There can be cleavage(yum), but I usually like a total shapely package.

» Will one leg be covered, but the other not?
    I perfer legs not covered

    » Will they be masked?
I perfer domino masks, if masked…not full face masks.

» Will the superheroine be weaking knee-high boots, thigh-high boots, heels or even nothing?
I truly, truly, truly hate boots on a heroine…which is why I’m probably not a big customer on the site. The one comic/pics I did love involved the beautiful Superbabe in Tables Turned…sexy mid-riff halter-top/bikini shorts combo and sexy clear platform sandals. That’s a superheroine for me! That’s what I’ll pay for. Platform Sandals, High-Heel Sandals, platform sneakers…there are a variety of sexy footwear a heroine can wear, and it should not be limited to bland boots.

I specialize in creating superheroines, as a professional science fiction/fantasy writer and for fan-fiction. To give you an idea of a design by me, here is my main character Neptuna from my and Pomy(a roleplaying friend and co-creator) erotic superheroine saga “Wrath of Ward”(http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wrathofward/):

“Costume: Neptuna is a beautiful woman, with the body of a 16-year old. Her body has the “swimmer’s” form,
and is much toned and only slightly muscular. She has long, sea green hair that is twisted into African braids, and
held into a high ponytail by a silver hair ornament (think of Namorita in the early issues of New Warriors).
She wears a turquoise colored bikini-styled halter-top, which has a glowing silver Union symbol (a silver star encircled by a gold ring) across her breasts.
She also wears turquoise colored hot pants, with no pantyhose. Lastly, she wears the Enhancement Sandals on her feet,
glittering silver and diamond-encrusted platform sandals. Oh, and she has diamond studs in both of her ears.”

As well as a Supergirl costume design, which was similar to Superbabe, from my story “Supergirl and The Squad”(http://www.superstories.net/story/story/1490107.html):

“The diamond on her bracelet lit up, coming to life. Even moving at superspeed did not affect the transformation, since it was just as rapid in and of itself. A mass of silvery tendrils exploded from the diamond, covering Kara’s entire body. For a nanosecond, Kara’s cheerleader uniform disappeared, revealing her nude statuesque body for the world to see. Then, the silvery tendrils went to work, pouring over her lean body like liquid metal. A blue halter-top, trimmed in red, appeared over her shapely breasts, covering them. Her trademark symbol, the red and yellow “S” shield, formed on the center of the top. Next, the silvery tendrils converged on her groin area, covering it with first a pair of red bikini panties, then a skimpy tiny blue flirt skirt, with yellow and red lines on the hem. Finally, to finish her uniform, two tendrils snaked down her long attractive legs to her feet, forming a pair of clear high-heeled platform sandals, with six-inch heels. The magical conversion from Kara Danvers to Supergirl finished with the tendrils whipping through her hair, turning it from dark brown to a golden blonde. A pair of red fingerless gloves appeared on her hands, complete with an instant manicure and pedicure. Finally, her red Kryptonian headband (also having a “S” shield) formed on her forehead.”

You can’t satisfy everyone, but again, I would love to see more variety in footwear, besides boots.
